"Supper is ready!" said Nick's mother. She was a frail woman always troubled by her son. Nick was an eleven year old boy. He was the naughtiest boy in his school. He was very famous in his school for his terrible pranks and mischiefs. All the teachers and even the principal were bored of hearing the apologies by Nick's parents. Nick ran straight into his dining room to have his supper. He just sat on a chair when his four year younger sister, Isabelle shouted ''Mommy, Nick again sat on my favorite seat!".” Hey! Get Lost! You Complaining machine" shouted Nick in anger and squeezed some sauce over Isabelle's face. "Mommy" cried Isabelle and ran out.
Now mother entered the room with full anger. She shouted "Let your Father come, I'll tell everything to him and he'll teach you a lesson".
Nick’s mother often threatened Nick by saying that she will tell all about his deeds to his father, but she never did so as no mother would want to see his child getting scolded. In fact instead of complaining she saved Nick every time from his father's scolding she said “Leave him for this time he is only a child”. She told Nick to not do this again but Nick didn’t listen anything and did all his mischievous stuff again.
This time mother was not in the mood to save Nick. Her face was very serious. She could not take any more pranks or mischiefs. Nick could see the anger. For the first time he was scared of his mother. He quickly took a tissue and wiped his sister’s face. “Now your face is clean” said Nick in a sweet voice. “Now sit on another chair” said mother in a very harsh voice. After this there was pin drop silence for five minutes and then the call bell rang. It was Nick’s father. Nick’s face went white. He wanted to run out of the house. He knew that he was going to get a terrible scolding and this time there was no one to save him.
Nick’s mother went straight to his father. She told everything to him and even about all the pranks he had played on his friends and his teachers. Nick’s father went red. He came near Nick and burst out. “How dare you do so? When will you know that you do not have to do all this stuff?” said Nick’s father. “But I....” Nick hardly completed his sentence when Isabelle interrupted. “Teach him a lesson father; he always bullies me and my friends. Nick started crying “I am sorry! I am sorry! Please forgive me!” he cried. There was a big silence. Nick’s father said “Ok! But if I get to know that you are doing such things again I will not forgive you.
From that day onwards Nick was a good boy. All his teachers were surprised to see this. So friends from this story we get to know that we should be nice to everyone so that they will be nice to us but if we are bad to anyone he or she may also be bad to us!
