Fables

Panchtantra are the oldest fables from Ancient India. These fables originally written by Pandit Vishnu Sharma between the second and third century B.C.  illustrate Nitishastra or how to live wisely. Hitopadesha fables are basically reconstruction of the Panchtantra with some additions by Narayana and are aimed to impart good advice.  We hope that our young readers will enjoy this section.
