The
Flying
House
Once Sunny and Stella had to
go to bring Christmas gifts for their friends and relatives. When they
went to a gift shop, they saw that the door was closed. They knocked on
the door. After some time a funny looking man with a long nose came out.
Mr. Long Nose said, "Come in," in a gruff voice. The two
went in. Long Nose started mumbling. Then suddenly he shouted "Hey
Dum-dum, come here."
Sunny and Stella saw a little pixie hurrying, very frightened. Long nose
shouted again, "Hey! See what you have done. You have messed up
everything while cleaning. Where are the toys, handicrafts and other gift
items? And most important of all, where is the flying house?"
The little pixie answered, "Master there are the handicrafts and here
are the toys. The rest of the gift items are in the show case." He
then pointed towards a huge room and said "The flying house is in the
room."
Sunny thought to himself , A flying house inside that room! Hmm! Well,
I must see that.
He whispered something to Stella. They both quietly slipped into the room.
They saw a house in the middle of the huge room. They went near the house.
It was a small house with tiny wings sprouting out of it.
It was decorated with colorful balls, streamers and balloons. There was a
Christmas tree in one of the rooms. It was decorated with candles, dolls,
colorful boxes, colorful balls and also a small Santa Claus. On a tiny
table some gifts and delicious food items were kept.
Suddenly Sunny remembered the little pixie. He ran out and taking the
pixie by his hand pulled him into the house. Long nose ran after them
shouting. His foot landed on a ball and he tripped and fell.
Sunny whispered to the pixie, "How do you make the flying house fly?
The pixie said, "You have to utter this password -"Shangrila-ma-doo-doo,
you should fly for us too!"
As Long Nose scrambled up and ran towards the house, waving his arms,
Sunny and the Pixie shouted together, with Stella soon joining in, "Shangrila-ma-doo-doo,
you should fly for us too!"
Within seconds they found themselves in their garden. They made friends
with Dum-dum. They soon grew very fond of him. Whenever they felt bored
they would play with the Pixie or would go traveling in the flying house.
They had many more adventures with Dum-Dum and the wonderful flying house.
