Waiting for a Friend

by Rutuparana Nanda

Friends are those
who share our feelings,
care for us,
pamper our emotions,
love us.

In every step of our life
we need a friend.

Some people cannot understand
the meaning of friendship.

Self motives spoil the
beauty of friendship.

I am still looking for a
true friend
with whom I’d share my secrets
who would stand by me in every
walk of life.
