Chocolates

by Ankita Panda

It is not known how long Native Americans have cultivated cocoa beans, but chocolate was first prepared for a European by the Aztecs of South America, who made a hot chocolate drink from the cocoa beans for the Spanish adventurer Herman Cerates, in 1519. He introduced it to Europe on his return to Spain in 1528.

In 1847 the first chocolate for eating was produced by Fry and Sons of Bristol.

The first milk chocolate, prepared by adding powdered milk to the pressed cocoa beans was produced in Switzerland in 1875.

However, chocolate is a moderate source of iron.

The Cadbury tradition began in 1831, when John Cadbury, of Grocery storeowner discovered the romance of cocoa. Ever since then creating chocolates with that very special tastes, smoothness and shape, has been the focus of the Cadbury business.

Every human, specially children love chocolates.
