Poems
Ocean of Life

by Jacob Thomas

Life is but pleasant
Waste not its seconds
For life is wasted
With every previous tick

Cool are the ways of life
To those who are optimistic
Rather a burden is life
With every negative thought

Spend moments in laughter
Because life is nothing but weep
Laughter coats the misery
That’s gifted in the name of life

Shed not tears while awake
They are shed anyway
Gather every drop in play
For they become the ocean of life.
