It was a dream waiting to happen…

When Rajender Krishan ji asked me whether we could transfer the column Natkhat into a full fledged site for kids, my ‘cerebral’ yell of affirmation I am sure could be heard by him across seven seas.

And so on 1st November, 2005 BoloKids was born.

26 issues later as I look back I feel quite thrilled. Our family has grown. Our regular contributors include a seven year old prodigy, an eleven year old columnist, barely ten poets, and pre-teen writers. From the adult world we have children’s writers who have made their mark on the national and international firmament, professional doctors, eminent metallurgists, educationalists, devoted parents and committed teachers.

The readers of BoloKids are growing steadily in numbers and the statistics prove that. But much more than statistics is the response we get from individuals spread across different countries, cultures and continents.

On the occasion of the 1st birthday of BoloKids I bring you a super-duper issue. It has got all your old favorites as well as some ultra-new ones.

Before signing off, I would like to express my heart felt thanks to Rajender ji for all his support and encouragement. A truckload of thanks to all the contributors and above all to you readers for it is your love that is making BoloKids blossom and bloom by the hour.

Finally all you lovely guys out there - BoloKids rocks and so do you!
