• Seahorses choose just one partner during their lifetime and are slow to find another mate if their first partner disappears or dies. They perform greeting dances every morning to confirm their bond.

• A crocodile cannot stick out its tongue.

• A shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes.

• cats have over one hundred vocal sounds. Dogs only have about 10.

Funda of Fundas

Spotted Salamanders are sure very particular and choosy about their habitat. They are amphibians that grow up in ponds, then move on to land. In spring they once again return to ponds to breathe, then disperse to damp hiding places under stones and logs.
